Traditional IRA
An individual retirement account you open yourself, with a lower contribution cap than a 401(k).
A Traditional IRA lets you contribute up to $7,500 in 2026 (independent of any employer plan) and deduct the contribution from taxable income β though deductibility phases out at higher incomes if you're also covered by a workplace plan.
