Gift Aid
A UK scheme letting charities reclaim basic-rate tax on your donation, with extra relief for higher earners.
Under Gift Aid, a charity can claim back the basic-rate tax on your donation from HMRC. Higher and additional rate taxpayers can also claim the difference between their rate and the basic rate on their own tax return, extending their basic rate band.
